The Arc of Luzerne County recognizes and celebrates creative abilities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Individuals with disabilities are eligible to submit digital images of their unique, artistic expression to be exhibited and celebrated. Artists of the top three submissions will be awarded distinguished honors, at The Arc of Luzerne County Annual Awards Dinner, March 23, 2017.
This project is about more than just showcasing community artists. It is an opportunity for people with disabilities to support The Arc of Luzerne County’s newest project to recognize creative abilities of those we serve. The project goal is to create a unique product line featuring the work of select artists. The artists whose work is selected will be eligible to receive a commission on the sale of items featuring their unique designs. Proceeds will support The Arc’s mission.
Artwork created by an individual or group of individuals is acceptable for submission. Digital images of all forms of artistic media – photography, drawings, paintings, batiks, and collages, to name a few, will be accepted.
Artists may enter as many unique submissions as they wish. Be creative!
Artwork must be submitted digitally via email, postal mail, or in person to The Arc of Luzerne County. All submissions must include a completed artwork submission form.
