National Initiative for Dialogue on Support for Postsecondary Success of Young Adults with Disabilities
Are you a family member or guardian of student with a disability who is currently or recently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., certificate, apprenticeship, community college, college or university and other post high school education and training)?
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and its National Collaborative on Workforce & Disability for Youth (NCWD) want your input. They're interested in hearing what post-secondary institutions and other providers can do to better assist you in supporting your student’s educational and employment success.
This dialogue invites families and guardians to contribute their ideas about ways to improve service delivery in post-secondary settings for youth and their families, through February 6, 2015. It's your chance to share your experiences and pinpoint solutions to help more students with disabilities complete degree or certificate programs at the same rate as their peers without disabilities.
