A major concern for individuals, and their families, is how working will impact the Social Security and health benefits they receive. They, and the providers who work with them, need to have a working knowledge of the work incentives that are built into the Social Security system.
The Pennsylvania Employment First State Leadership Mentoring Program will offer a no-cost webinar on June 27, 1:00-3:00 P.M., to provide an overview of work incentives and how they can protect benefits and maximize income for people receiving SSI, SSDI, Medicare and Medicaid. Also discuss will be effective communication and support for individuals and their families about this sensitive topic.
Program Managers, Employment Specialists, Job Developers, Job Coaches, Vocational Counselors, Educators, Employment Stakeholders, Service Coordinators and Families, are encouraged to attend.
