Zarifa Roberson, CEO of i.d.e.a.l. Magazine for Urban Youth with Disabilities to Appear on PA Independent Living
Zarifa Roberson, CEO of i.d.e.a.l. Magazine, the exclusive quarterly magazine for Urban Young People with Disabilities (i.d.e.a.l. is an acronym for Individuals with Disabilities Express About Life), will appear on PA Independent Living online radio show, Friday, January 23, at 12:00 PM. The magazine focuses on disability lifestyles, culture and political issues facing the disability community, and features fashion, beauty, health & fitness, entertainment, sports, and editorial sections.
Roberson will discuss i.d.e.a.l. Magazine's efforts to climb to the forefront of voicing concerns in the disability community, and her goals to be the next Oprah for the disability community and to make the magazine a global household name.
Roberson is a 35 year old from Philadelphia, PA, born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congentia (AMC). She holds a B.S. in Speech Communication with a minor in African American Studies from Millersville University, and M.Ed in Rehabilitation Counseling from Coppin State University.
